A discussion about the Bill on Cooperatives in lieu of Law No. 25/1992 is underway.

In the draft there is no reference to the credit union as a savings and loan cooperative. Compared with Law No. 25/1992, what is new in the draft is the regulation on the sharia cooperative (article 1 paragraph 2; chapter VIII, part two).
