Inexperienced English
Tuesday, June 26, 2001
English language schools have mushroomed in Jakarta and other major Indonesian cities. Some of them use the service of native speakers who are paid quite dearly. Unfortunately, many of the native speakers they use are youths aged between 20-25 with no prior teaching experience, and most of them are working on tourist visas. Will the officers in charge or the consumers’ rights foundations do anything about this?
