I was shocked to read an article titled Hollow Victory Amongst the Rumors (July 16), as the reality is totally different to what’s written in TEMPO.

Before the North Maluku gubernatorial elections in Ternate took place, intelligence reports that came to us mentioned that, if Thoib Armayn—the Regional Secretary and one of Bung Gafur’s competitors—won the elections, a victory parade would be held around the city of Ternate.
