TEMPO then and now are certainly different. Back then it used newsprint, now it’s “soft” paper like Newsweek and Time. Back then the reporting was accurate, now it’s full of opinions and presumptions of the facts, not to mention the lack of care.
For example, in the article The Great Escape (July30), TEMPO was careless in mentioning the suspect Ibrahim Abdul Wahab alias AMD. It should have been Ibrahim Abdul Wahab, Amd.
