Fantastic Fortunes

I was startled after reading the profiles of 25 members of the Investigating Commission of State Officials’ Wealth (KPKPN) recently published in the media. Some of the members have civil servant’s backgrounds, but their wealth is in the billions of rupiah.

I think the KPKPN members need to explain the origins of their wealth. It’s hard to believe if a civil servant can gather such wealth simply from his salary. I think the KPK
