Before I left for the Seychelles, I lived in Batam for almost a year. I saw just how gambling and prostitution have become commonplace and blatantly obvious in that city. I think TEMPO should make a report on the gambling, especially in Pasar Jodoh, which is unashamedly guarded by the security apparatus. And don't forget to mention the prostitutes, too. M.
