As usual, this outlet opened at 10 in the morning. The long line in front of it was astir and became noisy with protestation when an old lady suddenly surfed ahead of the others to get to the front of the line, swooping at the trays and hurriedly moving hot-from-the oven loaves of bread onto her trays.
