Death for Tibo

For the judge in the Palu District Court, Central Sulawesi, there was only one fitting sentence for 56-year-old Febianus Tibo: death. The suspected mastermind of the inter-religious violence in Poso last year was found guilty of murder and arson. Last Thursday, hundreds of people broke into applause as chief judge Soedarmo banged his gavel.
