NOT many know that actor Didi Petet reads books in Arab Jawi, Indonesian written in Arabic letters. Few people in Indonesia now possess the ability that Didi does. Thanks to the publication of Cahaya Nusantara, Arab Jawi is back as a medium of communication in Indonesia. According to Editor Syubah Asa, Cahaya Nusantara is the first tabloid published in the once-popular script in Indonesia.
