Kapital magazine has been dragged to the Supreme Court for allegedly attempting to discredit the Supervisory Commission for Business Competition.

Controversy over the sale of shares of Indomobil is still continuing. Now, it is Kapital's term to face it. A law suit against the economics and business magazine published in Jakarta was filed at the Supreme Court on January, 2003. David Tobing, the legal counsel for the Supervisory Commission for Business Competition (KPPU) filed the charges alleging Kapital had canvassed to publish news undermining the credibility of KPPU.
