Like a swarm of bees, a group of citizens calling themselves the Surakarta (Solo) Islamic Force went on a sweeping raid across the Central Java city. Members of four mass organizations, they hunted for U.S. citizens staying at local hotels. This raid, which took place on Sunday, October 29, was aimed at conveying an ultimatum that U.S. tourists should leave Indonesia within 48 hours.
