THE fury was acutely felt. Standing on a podium delivering a speech opening the Jakarta PDI-P (Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle) work meeting two weeks ago, Megawati Sukarnoputri held up a book. This book discredits Sukarno. It is clearly a character assassination. Obviously this book is absurd, said the PDI-P Chairperson angrily.
