It started with a letter from an aging retiree, which was sent to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The four-page document was written with the aim of preventing opportunities for corruption. The petitioner was not an irate activist. Although in his twilight years, T.M. Pardede, 66, filed a pointed complaint with the KPK office in Jakarta two weeks ago, on the policy of Home Affairs Minister Mohammad Maruf.
