WHEN Justice & Prosperity Party (PKS) parliament member Refrizal visited Hanoi last Monday he was surprised by what he found. A meeting with the Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam, Artauli R.M.P. Tobing, established that the ambassador was not involved in the import of large amounts of rice from Vietnam. Tobing maintained he only knew of the import after it was made a problem by certain members of the House of Representatives (DPR).
