General Surojo Bimantoro's fate is turning into something of a joke among the politicians in Senayan. When Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR), the one that deals with law and domestic affairs, held a meeting last week the director-general of legislation turned up. Due to a clash in the schedule, he was unsure whether to attend a meeting on the change in the law on corruption crimes or one on the new law on the national police.
