A YEAR has passed since the conflict broke out. It was February 2005. Hamzah Haz and Suryadharma Ali were at odds. Hamzah Haz is the General Chairman of the United Development Party (PPP) and a presidential nominee who failed in the first round of the 2004 General Elections. Suryadharma Ali is the executive chairman of PPP and is a minister in President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyonos cabinet.
