Golkars Research and Development Board has recruited some 50 civil servants in an effort to improve its image.

Unlike other days, on Wednesday afternoon two weeks ago the head office of the Golkar Party saw the presence of many professors and doctors. They were not wearing the uniform of the party, which has the banyan tree as its symbol. However, many of them were donning yellow batik shirts, in keeping with the partys color.
