IT is hard to imagine anyone committing those premeditated killingsthe beheading of high-school girls, the shooting of preacher Susanti and the bombing of Tentena market in Poso, Central Sulawesi. But there they were: four men charged with those crimes, sitting across the table from us. Another, on the opposite side, was Mohammad Basri alias Bagong, 30. They seemed unrepentant, making jokes when a Tempo photographer took pictures of Basri.
