THE event began with a moment’s silence in honor of former President Suharto who died a day earlier. Over 100 foreign representatives expressed condolences on behalf of their countries. This was an anticorruption conference organized by the UN Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) and attended also by a representative of the World Bank.
