UPON his return from New York a fortnight ago, Usman Hamid, Coordinator of the Commission for Missing Persons & Victims of Violence (Kontras), kept himself locked in his office, doing a weeks worth of overtime work while Jakarta residents happily returned to their hometowns for the Islamic Idul Fitri holidays. Along with his two colleagues, Usman prepared documents and dossiers on the death of Munir, his former senior in Kontras.
