THE hamlet no longer has any residents. A still end to 2008: in a green carpet of acacia, between 300 and 500 meters long, only destroyed houses and faint smoke can be seen. The sago palm used as roofing is scattered on the ground. What used to be roof supporting posts are piled up or strewn about. In several spots are household utensils and remains of burned clothes all over the place.
