IN April, the logistics for the 2009 General Election must reach the voting sites. This means that 11 weeks remain. It is indeed a rather alarming situation, as the distribution of logistics must reach even the most remote areas of Indonesia.
The contracts with the companies which win the bidding on providing election logistics can only be signed in the third week of January at the soonest, after the Rp2.8 trillion logistics budget is disbursed
