LAST Thursday, Minister of Home Affairs Mardiyanto found himself unable to smile in front of reporters. He said in raised tone that he had received incentives when he was Central Java Governor but maintained that he did not receive the payouts personally.
He called them operational funds. “So, anyone who accused that a governor receives the salary of Rp6 billion a year can be sued.” he said.
