THE two men met at a batik exhibition at the Jakarta Convention Center in April last year. Irman Gusman, Deputy Speaker of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) offered a batik shirt as a gift to Ganjar Pranowo, of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).
