Many Pindad weapons are in circulation in conflict areas. In Poso, illegal arms dealers operated like salesmen.

A WOODEN house at Lorong Cendana, Jalan Basuki Rahmat, South Poso, is filled with police officers. The neighbors can only watch from a distance.

At the home of this fried chips vendor, the police are digging up the floor. They were successful: a cache of assault rifles including American M16s, Russian AK-47s, and SS1s produced by PT Pindad were discovered. The police also found Pindad-made ammunition among the rifles.
