COMMOTION over the aspiration fund is likely to end quietly. Wednesday night last week, head of the Joint Secretariat Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono phoned Golkar Party Chairman Aburizal Bakrie. The next day, Golkar Party Deputy Chairman Agung Laksono said, “Pak SBY and Pak Ical agreed that there is no problem within the coalition.”

The aspiration fund was proposed during the House of Representatives (DPR) plenary meeting, Tuesday three weeks ago.
