AS of last week, the discussions on the cost of managing the haj pilgrimage has not been resolved. The demand by some House of Representatives (DPR) members to reduce the cost has been persistent, particularly since a report by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) pointed to 48 irregularities within the haj pilgrimage management system.
