THE tragic cases of Trisakti and Semanggi are now being rekindled. A Special Committee (Pansus) of the House of Representatives (DPR) that was formed to investigate and expose the events of nearly three years ago has set its wheels in motion. Last week, it began to summon several high-ranking civil servants and military personnel who at the time were thought to be associated with, and involved in, the incidents.
