ON the centenary of its founding, Muhammadiyah reelected Din Syamsuddin as leader of Indonesia’s second-largest socio-religious organization after Nahdlatul Ulama in a congress which ended in Yogyakarta, Central Java, on Wednesday last week. Din was chosen by the 13-member executive board of the organization along with Agung Danarta as his secretary-general.
