Malaysian Police arrested three Batam fisheries officials. One suffered head injuries after being struck by a rifle butt.

LANDING at the Batam Center’s wharf one, Asriadi’s head was swathed in bandages. He arrived from Johor Bahru, Malaysia on the Indomas III ferry late Tuesday afternoon last week. The Batam fisheries officer did his best to smile. Together with his two colleagues Erwan and Seivo Grevo Wawengkang, Asriadi was back on Indonesian soil again.
