Playboy Editor Advised to Seek Judicial Review

PRESS Council Chairman, Bagir Manan, suggests that Erwin Arnada, the former Chief Editor of Playboy Indonesia, request a judicial review of the Supreme Court’s July 29, 2009 ruling which found in favor of the charges of the Islam Defenders Front (FPI), thus sentencing Erwin to a two-year prison term. He is judged guilty of violating Article 282 of the Criminal Code on decency.
