Unknown Snipers in Papua

Shootings have occurred one after another in Papua for the last two weeks. Lately, Chief of the Bandara Mulia Sector Police, Puncak Jaya, Adj. Comr. Dominggus Octavianus Awes, was the victim of unknown shooters.

Dominggus was directing security measures in Bandara Mulia when two men suddenly grappled him from behind. After taking down Dominggus, the two grabbed his pistol and shot him in the head and chest. Dominggus died
