The railway station in Blitar, East Java is set to celebrate Indonesias founding president Sukarno. The station will be revamped in efforts to turn it into a city icon.

Sutrisno was stunned one morning. The Surabaya native was greeted by unfamiliar sights as he stepped into the Blitar railway station a week ago last Wednesday. There were three jumbo-sized posters of Indonesias founding president Sukarno, plastered across the walls of the stations waiting hall and ticket counter area.
