A controversy is raging over the death of a sergeant at an office of Ansor, the youth movement of Muslim organization Nahdlatul Ulama. It has been linked with alleged presidential aid to Irian Jaya’s sick pro-independence chief.

Chief Sergeant Aliman’s body lies in its grave in the Astono Ratu Kauman cemetery. It is two weeks since it was buried there, in his home town of Demak, Central Java.
