Until late last week Suharto, a five-star general and former Indonesian president, was still hospitalized at Pertamina Central Hospital, South Jakarta. Pale and weak, he had a temperature, ranging between 37 and 39 degrees Celcius. To support his life, Suharto, aged 80 years and 6 months, was connected to three tubes.
