THREE months after the handover to the Jakarta Metro regional police command, investigations of suspected fraud and embezzlement involving businessman Darren Chen Jia Fu, a.k.a. Suryo Tan, has come to a standstill. In a progress report sent to Ferimon Bakri, Metro Jaya's crimes investigations team states only four new witnesses have been questioned.

Investigators claim they have not questioned Suryo because other witnesses have not been summoned. "It's true that there are no new developments. What can we say?" Metro Jaya Police Command's Director of Crime Investigations, Rudy Heriyanto, said in mid-December.
