Id Card Massive Corruption Case

Investigations into alleged corruption in the electronic KTP (ID cards) project is entering a new phase. State prosecutors have handed over their investigation files to the Corruption Court, with trials scheduled to begin this Thursday.
Defendants in the case are Irman, the interior ministry's former director-general of demography and civil registry, and Sugiharto, the directorate's former director of information management and administration.
