Oesman Sapta Odang was busy receiving guests in his office on the eighth floor of Nusantara Building I, Senayan, last Thursday. "They came to congratulate me," he said.
Oesman had just been elected as speaker of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) on Tuesday, along with two deputies, Damayanti Lubis from North Sumatra and Nono Sampono from Maluku, to succeed Muhammad Sholeh, GKR Hemas and Farouk Muhammad, respectively.
