News of the government's plan to disband Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia spread in no time from one campus to another and became the major topic of discussion among students. When Tempo arrived at Hizbut Tahrir's office at Padjadjaran University in West Java, 15 students had just ended a halaqah (small-group religious gathering).
