One day after his inauguration as the new social affairs minister last Wednesday, Idrus Marham immediately went to work. After the handover ceremony with Khofifah Indar Parawansa, he held an event for the Family Hope Program with State-Owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno.

Idrus also flew to Papua to observe an aid mission for the Asmat Tribe suffering from malnutrition. Before departing to Papua, he received Tempo in his office last Friday
