AT first, the students at the Minhajunnidzom Dluo-el-Gonna pesantren (Islamic boarding school) were not suspicious of the man walking in front of the school complex on Jalan Lintas Timur AMD in the Sukaratu village, Pandeglang, Banten. They only began to suspect something was off when the 28-year-old man was seen pacing outside the school three nights in a row from Thursday to Saturday two weeks ago.
