A Major Mystery

PT Jangkar Nusantara Megah was quiet. Sounds of machines, laughter and chatting usually heard at the plant located at Bambe, Driyorejo, on the outskirts of Gresik, East Java, disappeared since two weeks ago. "We decided to let them off indeterminately," said Lydia, a director of PT Jangkar. The decision was taken following the worker's strike and the mid-June arrest of an Udayana Military Command (Bali) officer, Major Sutomo.
