The base of the Republic of South Maluku (RMS) is now an empty old room. The heavy, green door at the entrance to 50 Bazarstraat, in the centre of The Hague in Holland, has only just been reopened. There hasn't been any activity here since last June. No hurried steps, frantic staff and orders are heard. Scattered papers gather dust on tables that look to be decaying.
