Facebook removed dozens of accounts suspected of spreading false information about Papua. Those behind them are attempting to erase their digital traces.

THERE was something odd about the two-story house on Jalan Bangka XI No. 21-B, South Jakarta. Digital map showed the house should be number 21-A. However, the letter “A” was covered using a sheet of carton of the same color as the wall. The letter “B” seemed like a recent addition, in contrast to the rusty and weathered “21.” Despite ringing the bell multiple times, no one came out to greet.
