Questioning a Third Dose

The government plans to provide third-dose booster shots of Covid-19 vaccines in January 2022. Epidemiologists feel it is not necessary yet.

EVEN as the first and second injections of Covid-19 vaccines are still being given, the government is preparing for the third booster shots. They are targeting early distribution for the public beginning in January 2022. “This was the President’s request in anticipation of the Omicron variant,” said Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto on Monday, December 6.
