THE rising cases of forced hijab (headscarf) prompted the government to act. On Thursday, August 18, the Independent National Bureaucratic Reform Team, which runs under the ministry of administrative and bureaucratic reform (PAN-RB) had a discussion about the recent case of a high school student in Banguntapan, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta who was forced into wearing hijab by her teachers.
