THEY were five broken bodies. Some of them were naked, some just had underpants on. The wounds on their faces were still open, some of their body parts had been ripped apart and the only colors on the rest of their brutalized bodies were black and blue. The five men were found lying at the bottom of a 30-meter ravine full of deep undergrowth, near the village of Nagalingga, Tanah Karo regency, 83 kilometers southwest of Medan.
