PRESIDENT Abdurrahman Wahid acted fast and hard. Only two days after a bomb exploded at the Jakarta Stock Exchange, he ordered police to arrest two of the masterminds. They were Hutomo "Tommy" Mandala Putra, son of former president Suharto, and Habib Ali Baagil, a Moslem religious leader close to the ultra-conservative Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
