Police Gen. Dai Bachtiar raised the specter of homegrown terrorism on April 1 after attending a seminar on the antiterrorism bill in Jakarta. He said officers "arrested a number of Darul Islam activists" who had been rounded up after holding up a gas station at Kotabumi, North Lampung.
