The afternoon was getting dark when two speedboats moored next to a hut on the shore of a pond in Tanjung Berukang, East Kalimantan, on January 13.
Several people jumped out of the boats, facing minor resistance from a panicked guard, who lashed out at them with a machete. The hack missed and the visitors—who turned out to be members of a joint team from the national police headquarters—even managed to seize the attacker.
